Although I just scored a handful of beautiful Lilly pieces as well as a gorgeous pair of Franco Sarto sandals, all of which has me wishing summer would never end, I have to admit I get excited for fall every year. It’s the shortest season here in Wisconsin (arguably the reason it’s so appealing), but it’s my absolute favorite season for fashion.
One of my favorite fall fashion trends is booties. They’re stylish, comfortable, and are often equipped with a short heel that provides some height to those of us on the shorter side. I own two cheap pairs of Target booties from last fall, but this season I’m exploring the possibility of investing a little more into a well-made pair.
I have to admit, this post was inspired by these incredibly gorgeous Jack Rogers booties I stumbled upon today.
I die for those scallops! I’m a brown-boot kind of girl, but these beauties also come in black. Here’s a few more pairs I’m lusting after:
I LOVE these Franco Sarto wedge booties, available at DSW. They have scallop detail similar to the Jack Rogers pair, and they’re half the price. After falling head over heels for the quality of the Franco Sarto sandals I scored on clearance earlier this month, this brand is in my good graces. I’ll definitely be stopping by DSW to see if they have my size!
These Guess booties mimic one of my favorite styles from last season and something about the suede and the heel almost give them a little western flair. This pair would be very versatile to wear this fall, whether you’re doing a dress & tights for heading to a concert or a pair of jeans & a sweater for studying at your local coffee shop.
This beautiful pair of Zigi booties may appeal to those of you in warmer climates! I’m planning to move to Florida after I graduate, so I’m constantly thinking about how I’ll adapt my style for higher temps. The design of this shoe makes it breathable while allowing a fall look, and would be perfect for nights out!
What fall booties are you falling head over heels for?
