Style Icon Sunday: Reese Witherspoon

Welcome back to week 2 of my newest series, Style Icon Sunday! Last week I picked Olivia Palermo as my style icon, which prompted me to begin re-watching The City (yet again) and rethinking my choice to choose Olivia… I stand by my decision style-wise, but I forgot how awful her personality was in that show! Blegh. So this week, I’ve picked someone one of Hollywood’s sweetest, Miss Reese Witherspoon.

How the heck Reese’s impeccable style managed to fly under my radar until now is beyond me, but let’s put that embarrassing fact aside and enjoy some of my favorite Reese looks, shall we?

Girl knows how to rock the Texas tuxedo…

3…and travel in style.

This is one of my favorites. From the Louboutins to the coral dress to the shades (which I’ve found Reese is hardly ever without), this look is just so cool.

This is such a chic look, as well as some serious style inspo for fall! I’m always hesitant to pair black and brown, but Reese makes me want to step outside my comfort zone and give it a try.

Do I spy a pair of Valentino flats? These have been so trendy within the past year, and I love how her studded skimmers give an edge to her otherwise preppy look.

Don’t forget – you can see these looks (and more! I can’t stop pinning her looks) on my newest Pinterest board, Style Icons. Also, share a style icon of yours in the comments! I’m always looking for new inspiration.

  1. This is a really cute series! I love how Reese always looks put together even when she’s dressed casually (which seems to be a lot). Emma Stone and Scarlett Johansson are my fav.
