Lilly for Target Link-Up

Today I’m SO excited to be participating in the Lilly for Target link-up (hosted by Michaela and Annaliese) that I mentioned last week!  I may have gone a little Lilly-for-Target-crazy (okay, definitely), so this link-up is a perfect one for me to participate in. (P.S., I promise this is my last Lilly for Target blog post for a while.)

This dress (along with most of the Lilly for Target pieces, honestly) is so much better in person that I could’ve imagined when I originally saw it in the lookbook. The pink is better and brighter than I expected, and the darling pineapple zipper pull on the back of the dress is such a fun detail.

Now, it’s clearly a tote or beach bag, not the type of bag to carry on the daily, but I styled it with this outfit to embrace a little extra pattern-mixing. I was pleasantly surprised to see how well they went together! I went a bit crazy buying beach items from the collection (the bikini, the towel, the bag..) and most of the patterns clash a little, but these are so fun together since the dress has a smaller, one-color pattern.
